Jonker Walk

Every weekend, Jonker Street holds a night market. The lively old street is filled with all kinds of stalls, authentic food, exquisite handicrafts, local products, and some cultural performances.

The Stadhuys

The landmark of Malacca, built in 1753, was built by the Dutch to commemorate 100 years of colonial Malacca. Later, the Dutch were driven away by the British and British took over Malacca. The British added a weather icon and a clock tower to the church.

St Pauls Church

St. Paul's Church was built by the Portuguese in 1521. It is the oldest church built by Europeans in Southeast Asia. Because the famous missionary St. Francis is buried here, there is a white statue of Father St. Francis in front of the church.

This castle is because the Sultan of Malacca rejected the unequal trade demands of the Portuguese. The Portuguese occupied Malacca by force and built this castle to defend the Sultan's army, and then changed hands to the Dutch, and then the British. SULTANATE PALACE

The Malacca Cultural Museum, located in the Royal Palace, displays the daily necessities of the Palace. The entire palace is a replica of the building according to the records of the 15th century palace in the Malay Chronicle. The main exhibits in the museum are Malacca culture, as well as costumes, weapons, stone carvings, musical instruments and photos from all over Malaysia. There is also a diorama here trying to describe the Sultan's court.
